Killarney Metals Photo Contest Winner Announcement

Last month, we wrapped out our first ever customer photo contest.

We asked our amazing customers to snap photos of their setups and product installation, and offered prizes for all selected winners.

You guys came through and sent in some awesome photos of Killarney Metals products in their natural habitat. It gives us great pride to see consumers enjoying the products that our team works so hard to engineer, release, and put out into the market.

Because we received so many incredible submissions, we’re excited to announce that there will be another photo contest running throughout the second half of 2021!

We’ll include details about that contest below, including a link of where to sign up. Before that, let’s dive into the winners and take a look at their photo submissions.

1. Anthony A. (Distressed Design) from Midland, MI

Our first place prize winner goes to Anthony A. with Distressed Designs. Anthony’s project consisted of creating a ceiling light installation with our 36” Round Drip Pans, powder coated in a gold/brass color. This installation was for a pizzeria in Michigan where you can see the roundness of the lighting installation resembles the same form of a pizza pan.

We chose Anthony as our first place winner because we were impressed by his ability to repurposed our water pan to serve a different purpose than initially intended. His project includes both style and functionality, which are two values here at Killarney Metals we strive to achieve through our products. The execution of the project is a magnificent piece of art created by a very talented artist.

2. Jeff F. (Faust Design) from Philadelphia, PA

The second place prize winner goes to designer Jeff F. with Faust Design Arts. Jeff created modern hanging planters with a pop of green foliage overhang. He achieved this look by utilizing our 36” Round Drip pan. This installation was for the lobby of an insurance company’s office.

We chose Jeff as our second place winner because we were impressed by his keen eye for design and his ability to bring this vision to life. He transformed a basic metal pan, that in other occasions would be discrete, and turned it into a focal point of the room. Needless to say, he is a designer of great ingenuity.

3. Bill E. from Niwot, CO

Our third place prize goes to Bill E. from Niwot, CO. Bill has a very clean looking application on his laundry room’s newly installed hardwood floors. The White Washer Drip Pan blends seamlessly with his white appliances making the pans the perfect solution for a discrete, disaster prevention safety measure.

We chose Bill's application because it perfectly depicts the core capabilities of our pan while having a clean look to the laundry room. Metal doesn't have to be rustic, messy, or out of place. It can be classy and tasteful. Thanks Bill for proving that!
